Third arrested for Bloem doctor's rape

Johannesburg - Police arrested another man on Saturday afternoon in connection with assault and rape of a female doctor in a Bloemfontein hospital, Free State.
It was believed that the 29-year-old man and his two accomplices, a 16-year-old boy and 24-year-old man, raped the doctor in the early hours of Saturday morning, Captain Rulene Kuhn said.
The 35-year-old had been on duty at Pelonomi Private Hospital when she was raped.
The men had allegedly overpowered her, hit her on the head with a brick and then taken her to a ward that was being renovated to rape her.
All three will appear in Bloemfontein Magistrate's Court on Monday.
