Toddler goes missing

East London - Police are searching for a three-year-old boy who went missing in Centane near East London, Eastern Cape police said on Sunday.

Captain Jackson Manatha said the boy did not arrive home after a 21-year-old woman left him near his house before she went home herself on Tuesday last week.

The boy was reported missing after his parents and community members could not find him. He was wearing a white t-shirt and brown trousers when he went missing.

The East London police dog unit started the search for the boy on Sunday, Manatha said.
