Johannesburg - The case against a man accused of trafficking Zimbabwean children into South Africa was postponed by the Mmabatho Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, North West police said.

Warrant Officer Sam Tselanyane said 41-year-old Simon Mhlanga was expected to make a formal bail application on January 12.

He was caught with 13 Zimbabwean children in his bakkie in Mahikeng on December 15.

The children, aged between four and 16, were taken to a shelter in Mooinooi.

So Simon Mhlanga has been caught. Makes one wonder how many children have already been smuggled over and where they are now. Point an accusing finger at Home Affairs and our porous border control.
