Trains to ANC's centenary celebrations

2012-01-05 16:00

Johannesburg - Fourteen trains will transport people to the ANC's centenary celebrations in Bloemfontein, the Passenger Rail Agency of SA said on Thursday.

This would be done through a combination of chartered and commercial trains, spokesman Lawrence Venkile said in a statement.

The agency expected to ferry about 13 000 people to the celebrations this weekend.

The trains would leave from Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, Kroonstad and Cape Town.

The commercial service consisted of a tourist class train which would leave Durban on Saturday, January 7, at 17:50, returning on January 8, at 22:00. A return ticket would cost R500.

A "Premier Classe" train would leave Johannesburg on January 7 at 21:00, returning on January 8, at 23:30. A return ticket would cost R2 020.

Why don't you guys charter some SAA aircraft as well while you are at it...? Beside... Its only tax payers money. Are there any other things you are going to scr3w the tax payers for for your MEGA bash? Some free jewellery for the guests? Maybe gold laced African robes to go with it? Why not hire the Black Eyed Peas to perform at the party as well?

      DISGUSTING I TELL YOU!

"ANC to slaughter a cow and comune with the ancestors". Which ancestors? The ones before the whites arrived, were Tribalists. There was no South Africa. They had fire, skins, animals, huts. No horses. No alphabet. No writing. No money. No cloths. Or are they ‘invoking the spirits’ of the dead ANC Members? The ones which died for the Total Control of South Africa? When the rest of the World has turned away from Total Control of the People and the Economy? Russia, China, India, and many others have turned away from the Total Control the ANC wants? Bible: ‘It is appointed unto mankind to live once, and afterwards the judgement’. Bible “ Between us ( in Paradise and Hell) and them ( in the material World ) there is a great divide” It is therefore a Christian belief that ALL ancestors can NOT be contacted. It is a spiritual impossibility.

“ The Gang of Four Chinese Communist Party members came to power during the Cultural Revolution (1966–76), and were charged with a series of treasonous crimes. The gang consisted of Jiang Qing, Mao Zedong's last wife as the leading figure of the group, and her close associates Zhang Chunqiao, Yao Wenyuan, and Wang Hongwen. In 1980, the trials of the Gang of Four began. Among the prosecution’s charge of actual crimes were the usurpation of state power and party leadership; the persecution of some 750,000 people, 34,375 of whom died during the period 1966-76. It was at this trial that Jiang Qing made the famous quote: "I was Chairman Mao's dog. I bit whomever he asked me to bite." Jiang Qing was sentenced to death in 1981. “ Source Wikipidia. I have now got a box of Benzene for the Virodene Awards of 2011: The nominees are: Thabo Mbeki Doctor ( of medicine ) Nkosazana Zuma ( the 2 were the big pushers of the attempt to Genocide 5 million aids sufferers with Benzene labelled as Virodene - which is now their prize! ) Pres Zuma Julius Malema ( acomplices ) David Miliband ( cover up ) Barack Obama Hilary Silly Hilly Billy Clinton Bill the Clown Clinton ( Financiers of Abortions ) Jullian Assenge ( the Genocide of Millions of SA People is not important to him - a few Iraqui casualties are : arab bloob is more important than african blood ) Ariel Adorfmann ( the mentally challenged does not understand that if Mandela was aquitted in his trial of treason because he does not owe allegiance, neither does SA owe benefits to him and his people ) Fidel Castro and Raul Castro ( for the Genocide of the Cuban and African People, particularly 1 500 000 Ethiopians and 500 000 Angolans ) And the Manpara Virodene Award goes to... • Larry - 2012-01-05 16:13

A free train ride at taxpayers expense. They had better feed and look after them, or Bloem is going to see the biggest riot in South African history.

  • JudithNkwe - 2012-01-05 16:19

Where did they all appear from? There were almost no trains available for COP17

  • Jacques - 2012-01-05 16:19

They should make 2000 taxis available and give each taxi 3 cases of liqour and knifes so they can have a jol when they arrive in Bloem!!

      Henry.E.S.Moorcroft - 2012-01-05 17:04

Just a correction....not bloem any more ...now called Mangaung from now on...I live here....all over town it is ..."Welcome to Mangaung"....they have changed the name for the celebrations! What is next?? I think the town's airport is next and you and I will pay for it.

  • Vaaldonkie - 2012-01-05 16:22

Why am I suddenly thinking of the movie, Throw Momma from the Train?

  • Mike - 2012-01-05 16:25

Suddenly we can find trains? What happened to the entire train service we USED to have - Durban to Maputo, Johannesburg to Maputo, Johannesburg to Harare and Bulawayo - and god knows what other routes there were. Excuse at the time I remember clearly was there were no trains and infrastructure.... But for the ANC self celebration we can suddenly find those and ferry 13.000 people by train...

  • J.D. - 2012-01-05 16:26

@ Rodfor - What makes you think that the full price of the tickets are going to be paid by the guests huh? Don't be naive! How many of the guests do you think will be willing to pay R500 or R2000 per ticket? Especially when they support the thieving ANC? And those that DO, for some miracle reason, will just claim it back from SARS!

      ozzie.oz1 - 2012-01-05 18:10
