Translux bus overturns

Cape Town - Twenty-eight passengers have been taken to hospital after a Translux bus overturned in the early hours of the morning while travelling between Durban and Pretoria.
The double-decker luxury liner hit a kudu and fell over onto its left side.
According to Translux spokesperson Carl Newman, no passengers were killed and twenty-eight people were taken to Ladysmith and Escourt hospitals.
Most were discharged after several hours and only two passengers remained in hospital. Their condition was satisfactory.
The accident happened near the Tugela Oasis stop, which is between Ladysmith and Escourt, at about 01:00.
Newman told News24 a replacement coach was organised to take the passengers on to their destination.
The kudu died in the accident.
