Kokstad - A driver was killed when his truck left the N2 and rolled down an embankment near Kokstad on Monday night, KwaZulu-Natal paramedics said.

The driver was found a few metres from the vehicle, which was about 50 metres from the N2, ER24 spokesperson Derrick Banks said in a statement.

It was not yet known what caused the truck, carrying milk, to leave the road. The accident happened about 30km outside Kokstad.
