Johannesburg - Four-month-old twins died and five adults were injured in an accident on Randfontein Road, in Sebokeng, in the Vaal Triangle, on Thursday night, paramedics said.
"Somehow, the driver lost control of the vehicle, it left the road and rolled into the veld, 30m from the road," said ER24 spokesperson Derrick Banks.
The twins and four adults, including the driver, were ejected from the car.
The twins, whose genders were not known, were declared dead on the scene. Their mother, who was found inside the car, was taken to hospital in a critical condition.
The other four adults were treated for moderate injuries.
