Two arrested in Cape Town dagga bust

Cape Town - Two men were arrested on Tuesday for dealing in dagga in Philippi East, Cape Town, Western Cape police said.

Acting on a tip-off, police found them dealing in dagga in Stock Road under the pretext of selling vegetables and fruits.

Dagga worth about R60 000 on the street was seized, said Captain Frederick van Wyk.

The men, aged 42 and 45, would appear in the Philippi Magistrate's Court on Wednesday on charges of dealing in drugs.

    Who did these people harm that you have to arrest them? LEAVE THEM ALONE! It's a damn plant. You got no right to tell people what they can and can not put inside their very own bodies, especially if nobody is being harmed!
