Two held over Free State murder

Johannesburg - Two men have been arrested in connection
with the murder of a taxi driver in Thabong, Welkom, Free State police said on
Wednesday.
They were taken into custody on Tuesday for the crime
committed on Monday, police spokesperson Mamello Macheoane said.
Kebile Solomon Lephoi, 51, was stabbed to death by three
men when he stopped to help a woman being robbed.
"The woman saw the taxi driver stopping his vehicle
and tried to run towards the taxi. The suspects also ran towards the taxi and
stabbed the driver several times all over his body through the window of his
vehicle."
Police investigations led to the arrest of two men, aged
20 and 33. The other man was still at large. They were expected to appear in
the Welkom Magistrate's Court on Wednesday.
