Durban - Two women accused of lodging false claims with the Road Accident Fund appeared in the Point Periodical Court in Durban on Thursday.
The matter was postponed to March 15 for further investigation, said police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Vincent Mdunge.
Beharie Ramu and Beharie Berverlyann were arrested on February 9 in Pietermaritzburg, along with attorney Naleni Atwaru.
Atwaru allegedly lodged fraudulent road accident claims worth about R3.7m. She was released on bail of R5 000 by the Durban Commercial Crimes Court on February 9. Atwaru would appear in this court again on Friday.
The three are charged with fraud for claims dating back three years.
Ramu and Berverlyann are out on bail.
