Two killed in Pretoria accident

Johannesburg - Two people were killed in an accident on the N4 near the Watermeyer Road bridge in Pretoria east on Saturday, Gauteng paramedics said.

A third person was critically injured, said Netcare 911 spokesperson Jeffrey Wicks.

The Jaws of Life was used to free the injured man and he was taken to hospital for treatment.

It is alleged that two vehicles were travelling in the same direction when one slammed into the other.

    Condolences to the families. Always intriguing that cars traveling in the same direction on a wide highway can hit each other with sufficient force to kill.
