Two women killed in KZN

Pietermaritzburg - Two women were shot and killed in different areas of KwaZulu-Natal on Monday, police said on Tuesday.
Inspector Les Botha said Lena Notombinjani Mkhize from the Mshayazafe area near Wartburg was watching television with her family on Monday when shots were fired through a window.
She was hit twice, in the chest and hand, and died at the scene. The motive for the murder was still not clear.
In a second incident, 21-year-old Phumzile Ndlovu was shot in the head around 17:30 on Monday in the Mafakatini area near Taylor Halt.
The motive for the killing was not known.
Investigations of both incidents were continuing, Botha said.
