Durban - A man wanted for a string of crimes committed in St Lucia, north of Durban, was arrested on Friday, KwaZulu-Natal police said.
Captain Thulani Zwane said police received information about the man's whereabouts and he was arrested in his house in St Lucia.
The man had been linked to 12 offences committed in the St Lucia area in the past two months.
"These cases include attempted murder, rape, business robbery, and house robbery," Zwane said.
He was found in possession of a firearm and 15 rounds of ammunition.
Police also recovered a laptop and United States dollars suspected to have been taken during housebreakings.
He would appear in the Mtubatuba Magistrate's Court on Monday.
