Weather service warns of 'high discomfort' in KZN

Johannesburg - A special weather advisory for high discomfort in parts of KwaZulu-Natal was issued by the SA Weather Service on Thursday.

Forecaster Jan Vermuelen said there would be isolated scattered showers and thunder showers in the northern, eastern and south eastern parts of the province.

Heavy rainfall was expected in the area on Friday, as well as in Mpumalanga.

A cold front was expected to sweep over the Western Cape, said Vermuelen.

"There will be isolated to scattered showers of rain in the northern and north eastern parts," he said.

Gauteng would experience cool weather along with isolated showers and thunder showers.

"The North West would be partly cloudy and warm with isolated showers, while the Free State was expected be partly cloudy, yet warm with scattered showers in the east," said Vermuelen.

Limpopo would experience cloudy weather and scattered showers.
