Willem Ratte's bail extended
Johannesburg - Right-winger Willem Ratte's court case was postponed in the Witbank Magistrate's Court on Tuesday, his attorney Vivien de Klerk said.
"His case was postponed for further investigation to January 27, 2011."
This would allow the State to conclude its investigation.
"It was quick in and quick out as expected. There was no legal argument."
All the accused had their bail extended.
They were arrested during a police raid on Ratte's Balmoral, Mpumalanga farm in September. They face charges of illegal possession of dagga, unlicensed firearms and ammunition.
De Klerk said Ratte was in good health and very positive.
"He insists that there is no reason for him to be charged."
