Johannesburg - A woman was killed when a heavy-goods truck crashed into the side of her vehicle near Stanger, KwaZulu-Natal, paramedics said on Tuesday.
Her male passenger was seriously wounded during the accident, at the R102 Compensation, Shakas Head intersection around 21:00 on Monday, Netcare 911 spokesperson Chris Botha said.
He was trapped in the wreckage.
The 28-year-old woman died on the scene.
The man was stabilised and taken to Stanger Provincial Hospital.
