Woman held for cocaine at Cape Town airport

Cape Town - A woman was arrested at Cape Town International Airport on Monday morning for possession of cocaine, Western Cape police said.

Lt-Col Andre Traut said the woman, 31, disembarked from a South American flight around 11:45 and was taken aside to have her luggage searched.

He said 1.3kg of cocaine, with an estimated street value of R390 000, was found in the handles of her suitcase.
