Woman killed by ex-boyfriend

Johannesburg - A 19-year-old woman was shot dead by her ex-boyfriend in Jet Park in Kempton Park, on Thursday night.
East Rand police spokesperson Annaline Prinsloo said the woman was working late when she received a call from her ex-boyfriend, saying he was bringing her CDs to her.
When he arrived just after 19:00 she went outside to open the gates.
Prinsloo said the girl's colleagues heard a gunshot and went outside to investigate.
They found her lying on the pavement with a bullet wound to her head. Her ex-boyfriend had driven away, but returned a short while later.
When he realised that she was dead he shot himself.
Police arrived on the scene and seized an unlicensed 9mm pistol.
The man was admitted to the Johannesburg General Hospital in a critical condition.
