Johannesburg - The body of a man, whose hands and feet were tied with a rope, was found in Sunderlandridge, near Erasmia, southwest of Pretoria on Monday.

Constable Tumisang Moloto said Waste Water Works employees had discovered the body around 08:00 on Monday morning.

"We believe that the man was murdered somewhere else before his body was dumped at the plant," Moloto said.

He said the unidentified man had visible injuries to the lower parts of his body.

"A post mortem will be conducted to determine the cause of death and the age of the man," he said.

No arrests have been made.
