Fire burning down Durban warehouse, reports of explosions

Durban – A fire has broken out in Westmead in Durban on Sunday evening, almost completely destroying a warehouse.

A News24 reporter who is on scene said the blaze on Alexander Road has required several fire tenders on scene, including the Bronto Skylift and the water tanker.

“The warehouse is basically razed but the fire is still going. They are using the Skylift to fight the fire from above.”
