Businessman shot dead in Limpopo

Musina - A 43-year-old Limpopo man was shot and killed in Musina on Monday evening, police said on Tuesday.

Police said the well-known businessman was gunned down on Monday night by two unknown suspects.

His identity has not yet been released.

Brigadier Motlafela Mojapelo said the deceased was apparently with a woman when the suspects, who spoke Shona, approached him and shot him dead.

Mojapelo said the woman was not injured.

The incident happened in Musina Extension 12. The man's pistol, cellphone and a friend's cellphone were taken by the suspects.

Anyone with information was requested to contact their nearest police station.
