Polokwane - The culpable homicide case against the Limpopo truck driver who was involved in the accident that claimed the life of late Public Service Minister Collins Chabane was postponed in the Polokwane Magistrate's Court on Friday.

Amukelani Rikhotso was arrested in March after the accident.

Chabane and Sergeants Lesiba Sekele and Lawrence Lentsoane were killed on March 15 when a truck allegedly made a U-turn in front of their car on the N1 between Mokopane and Polokwane.

Magistrate Janine Ungerer postponed the case to January 20 next year.

In May, charges were provisionally withdrawn against Thembani Chabane, the man who claimed on social media that Chabane had been assassinated.
