Heavy rains cause power outages in Tshwane

2015-12-22 13:31

Pretoria- Parts of Tshwane were left without power on Tuesday following heavy rains in the city.

The affected areas are Centurion, Wierdapark, Queenswood, Meyerspark, Waterkloof Ridge, parts of Pretoria West, and the CBD, spokesperson Lindela Mashigo said.

Technicians were working on restoring power to these areas, but it was not clear how long this would take, Mashigo said. The weather had caused delays in attending to individual complaints.

People could report problems by calling 012-358-9999 or sending an sms to 44676.
