Pretoria – The Electoral Commission is expected to host a ballot paper order draw for the 2016 Municipal Elections on Wednesday morning at Election House in Centurion.

The public draw will be for the first position on more than 4 600 ballot papers for the August 3 Municipal Elections.

Representatives of political parties contesting these elections have been invited to witness the event.

Meanwhile, applications for special votes for the elections will open from June 10 to July 8, with special voting days on August 1 and August 2.

This is to accommodate registered voters, including the elderly and people with disabilities, who will not be able to get to their voting stations on August 3.
