Cape Town - Cape Town businessman Naushad Deshmukh was still missing by Friday afternoon with no new developments, Western Cape police said.

Spokesperson Captain FC Van Wyk said the investigation into his disappearance and whereabouts continues.

Deshmukh was allegedly kidnapped outside his clothing business in Athlone on Monday October 31.
He and a woman were robbed as they were leaving the business.

A group of armed people approached them in Hadji Ebrahim Crescent and he was taken and driven away in a white Toyota light delivery vehicle.

Anyone with information has been asked to call Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
