KZN man survives shooting

Durban – A KwaZulu-Natal man survived a shooting on Friday night, Netcare911 said on Saturday.

Netcare911’s Chris Botha said at around 22:07 paramedics responded to a shooting incident along Umhlatuzana Road in the Marianhill area of KZN.

When they arrived at the scene the patient was brought on the back of a bakkie.

Paramedics examined the man, who had sustained life-threatening gunshot wound.

The man was stabilised at the scene transported to a Chatsworth hospital for further treatment.

The exact details to the cause of the shooting is being investigated by the police, Botha said.
