Limpopo family found burnt to death in locked room

Tzaneen – Police are investigating a triple murder after two elderly people and a teenager were found burnt to death at their home in Mahwibidung village, outside Tzaneen on Sunday morning, Limpopo police said.

The bodies of Samuel, 86, Alice, 78, and Seahlodi Sejaphala, 16, were found partly burnt in their living room, which was locked from the outside, said Lieutenant Colonel Moatshe Ngoepe.

Details of the murder are still sketchy and the motive is still unknown, he said.

No arrests had yet been made.
