Man stabbed to death at Potchefstroom taxi rank

Durban – A man was stabbed to death at a taxi rank on new Market Road in Potchefstroom, paramedics said on Friday.

The man is believed to have been in his 20s.

ER24 spokesperson, Russel Meiring, said when paramedics arrived at the scene they found that the man had sustained a stable wound to his chest and showed no signs of life.

Paramedics initiated CPR and advanced life support interventions, however the man was pronounced dead on the scene.

Police were investigating the circumstances surrounding the man’s death.
