NYDA committee recommends seven candidates

Cape Town – Parliament's ad hoc committee charged with filling vacancies on the NYDA board on Tuesday recommended seven names.

The committee whittled the candidates down from 13 following a selection and interview process and deliberations.

MPs said they were satisfied with the calibre of candidates, and that they would strengthen the National Youth Development Agency's governance.

They are:

• Joy Maimela
• Yershen Pillay
• Zandile Majozi
• Ndumiso Mokako 
• Kenneth Morolong 
• Bavelile Hlongwa 
• Sifiso Mtsweni
