Cape Town – Only three of four missing Kuils River teenagers have been found, and not four as Netwerk24 reported on Tuesday.

The search is still on for Micaela du Preez, 17, who has been missing since March 2.

Robyn van Leeve, 19, Nayoca Plato, 17, and Chandré Snyman, 16, were all found on Tuesday afternoon. Robyn and Nayoca were found unharmed in Roodepoort, Gauteng, and Chandré in Paarl.

Dessie Rechner, a director of the Pink Ladies, an organisation that helps find missing children, said only three girls were found.

"Everything that appears on our Facebook and Twitter page is true. We don’t post a ‘found’ poster on any of our social media platforms without having first confirmed it with the police. We work very closely with investigators," Rechner said.

Western Cape police spokesperson Sergeant Noloyiso Rexwana confirmed that only three girls were found on Tuesday.

She said Chumisa Fatyela, 15, from Kuils River, who was reported missing on August 28, 2016, returned home unharmed on August 31.

*An earlier version of this story incorrectly stated that Micaela had been found.
