Giyani - Police in Malamulele outside Giyani, Limpopo, have embarked on a massive search for Vuhlari Makamu, who went missing on Monday last week after an alleged dispute with his father.

The 16-year-old was last seen wearing his school uniform by a classmate in the Giyani area.

The teen was staying with his father when he left home following the alleged dispute. He has not been seen since.

According to Captain Mamphaswa Seabi, Makamu’s mother is believed to be working in Gauteng.

Despite continued police efforts to locate the boy, there has been little success in obtaining information about his whereabouts.

Police have asked anyone with information on the whereabouts of Makamu to contact the Malamulele Police Station on 082 729 0229 or to call Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
