The accident in itself is not the most shocking part – what the driver of one of the vehicles did after the incident has left social media speechless.

According to The Rekord Pretoria, the accident, occured on the N1 highway in Centurion.

The video, which was posted on the Facebook page Arrange A Ride, shows a blue car driving into a white bakkie. The bakkie smashes into the concrete, flips over and then skid halfway across the road.

Instead of getting out to assist, the driver of the blue car quickly attempts to drive off. However two other drivers, who saw the accident, decided to pursue the car and blocked its way.

The driver was at first reluctant to get out of his car, but he’s eventually coaxed out.

People on social media commented that they were very impressed by what the other drivers did.

“Shocking how disgusting people out there can be”

“Good on everyone for working together to stop this conscious-less person!”
