Cape Town – Three people have died and at least three others have been injured in a collision outside De Doorns on Tuesday morning, paramedics said.

It is understood that multiple vehicles were involved in the accident in the Kanetvlei area on the N1, said ER24 spokesperson Chitra Bodasing.

She said there was nothing paramedics could do to save two men and a woman. At least three people had sustained serious to critical injuries.

Paramedics were still busy on the scene.
