Three killed in Kruger Park crash

Cape Town -  Three Kruger National Park tourist were killed when a taxi overturned in the northern section of the park on Sunday, managing executive of the park Glenn Phillips.

"Their taxi veered off the road and overturned while travelling between Shingwedze and Mopani. Two people were certified dead on the scene and another died on the way to hospital. Several other people were treated on the scene for minor injures and other more seriously injured passengers were taken to hospital," the statement said.

Phillips extended condolence to their families.
''It is indeed a tragic event to lose someone but to lose three is even more devastating,'' he said.

No other cars were involved and police would investigate.
