Toddler resuscitated after almost drowning in pool

Johannesburg - A 2-year-old boy was resuscitated after almost drowning in Mulbarton, Johannesburg, on Wednesday, paramedics said.

The boy fell into the swimming pool at his home, Netcare 911 spokesperson Athlenda Mathe said.

When paramedics arrived on the scene, they started administering CPR and resuscitated the toddler.

The child was airlifted to hospital for further treatment.
