Cape Town - Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu visited the family of the late Judge Essa Moosa on Thursday.

He prayed with Moosa's relatives in their Belgravia home.

An official statement on the visit was not released. But a photograph of Tutu, 85, along with Moosa's sons Faizel and Shiraz, showed a frail-looking, yet smiling, Tutu. "The Arch", as he is popularly known, is no longer seen in public as often as he used to be.

Moosa, who was previously diagnosed with cancer, died last Sunday.

A memorial service is set to be held for the former human rights lawyer in Belgravia this Sunday.

Tutu's health has recently been in the spotlight, following minor surgery and a hospital stay last year.
