AbaThembu king snubs Malema

2012-05-04 15:16

Johannesburg - Expelled ANC Youth League president Julius Malema was refused entry to the Great Place of abaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo in Bumbane in the Eastern Cape, The Times reported on Friday.

Malema was scheduled to visit the king on Thursday, but was turned away by guards from Calculama Security Services, owned by former Umkhonto we Sizwe operative Ronnie Matshaya.

The king's spokesperson Phumla Matshaya told the newspaper the king would not receive Malema because "Bumbane is not a battlefield to fight cheap politics.

"The king has his own battles to fight. He will always refuse to be used as a launching pad for others to fight their wars. We cannot allow Malema a visit while the political climate is not conducive to do so."

Matshaya said the decision to revoke Malema's permission to visit had been taken by the king and Umkhonto we Sizwe.

  • colin.langley - 2012-05-04 16:38

Guys!...Come on...you should be more afraid of the ANC! While everyone bitches about Malema this, Malema that, the powers that be in Government and Crime Intelligence are busy working out deals and changing the constitution in their favour....Malema is right..Zuma and his cronies will relish their new Dictatorial management of this beautiful country

  • Thando - 2012-05-04 17:03

Life is cold outside th ANC my boy.......hw cn u be granted an audience @ a place where culture is revered. Kings are custodians of culture nd discipline is one of key pillars of culture.......let th King be, he has his own demons to face.

  • Refiloe - 2012-05-04 17:05

    Hail to the King.

  • tnmunyai - 2012-05-04 17:15

To be honest Malema has never done anything good for the youth. He was busy looting and suplying tenders to those who said they take him as their child and gave him an expensive car in return. 'Shem' the poor of the poor. He became a multi milionare within few months after he anounce that he is a poor guy. From today his name is Condom

  • kaliphile.daka - 2012-05-04 17:19

IKumkani is well within his birth right not to allow Juju to the Bumbane, I don't understand why would the writer put emphasy on who owns Calculama security. There are so many security companies in this country owned by ex-combatants but no emphasy is made about them. Malema and his friends must take the fight to the streets and leave our Kings alone.

      Irene - 2012-05-04 17:50

If this dude is a king, then I'm a queen.

  • robert.t.sekwati - 2012-05-04 17:23

Malema my young leader, the young lion frm my home province.you will remain my inspiration, they may deny you what they consider privileges and all..they may make you feel like a \used condom\ but the truth is that ONLY liers and the corrupt survive in the ANC...be strong jujuman...nna I am still behind..

      Irene - 2012-05-04 17:49

Wow, you don't have high standards do you.

      Thando - 2012-05-04 18:21

Sekwati......is it a coincedence tht Limpopo is th only province tht got a bail out frm gov??

  • Sidney Gilroy - 2012-05-04 17:48

  • Irene - 2012-05-04 17:51

I notice the pro-cANCer administrator was on duty today.

  • georgebrightons - 2012-05-04 18:22

How come on earth the King denies a MULTI-MILLIONAIRE entry to his Palace. Maybe the multi-millionaire was coming to donate R1million to the King and not cheap politics.

      Nockx - 2012-05-04 18:41

Dude. How often do you keep up with current affair?

      Smile - 2012-05-05 10:12

Never heard of you my king, but good for you,let then kids go and play with their toys.

  • Don.Tandy - 2012-05-04 19:46

And his builder will probably deny him access to Corruption Castle as well - and he will have to send someone else to fetch his KFC, because every door in town will have his picture on the back among the 'deny access' pictures.

  • dougmayger - 2012-05-04 21:37

Good for the King; and hopefully many others.......ALL a condom does is cover a "P...K" (of whatever size)

  • Joseph - 2012-05-05 04:43

Was Zuma s allowed entry to the Great Place of abaThembu King Buyelekhaya Dalindyebo in Bumbane in the Eastern Cape on the same day to use the palace as the launching pad? Most probably yes.

  • Jacob - 2012-05-05 14:22
