Johannesburg - SABC's Group Chief Executive, Dali Mpofu says the broadcaster did not bow to pressure in its decision not to proceed with an interview with Jacob Zuma, according to an article published on SABCNews.com.
Mpofu has taken full responsibility for, and given his support to the editorial team for last week's decision.
He denied allegations that it happened because of political pressure and says the SABC has no political agenda, either for or against Zuma.
He says it was purely an editorial decision, and not solely based on the sub judice rule, but also on other considerations of principle.
