DA elects new KZN leaders

2012-03-17 18:10

Durban - The Democratic Alliance on Saturday elected Sizwe Mchunu and Haniff Hoosen to lead the party in KwaZulu-Natal.

Mchunu was voted in as provincial leader and Hoosen as the chair at the DA's provincial congress in Ladysmith, the DA said in a statement.

Mchunu had faced off against Ziba Jiyane, who was the former IFP secretary-general and the founding president of the National Democratic Convention. Jiyane joined the DA last year.

The party elected Francois Rodgers as the provincial deputy leader.

Well done to the new leaders. Now deliver KZN for the DA. We know you can do it.

      bluzulu - 2012-03-17 20:04

      pws69 - 2012-03-17 20:07

      Simnikiwe - 2012-03-17 20:09

Keep dreaming Pws69, dreams do come true son. Keep dreaming...

      pws69 - 2012-03-17 20:11

@Simnikiwe, That is what you ANC clowns said about CT, then WC, and that ended in tears for you didn't it? 2019 = DA government.

      Simnikiwe - 2012-03-17 20:15

Very good Pws69, keep dreaming. You 're not too bad at this after all...

      pws69 - 2012-03-17 20:17

@Simnikiwe, Yup, and a GP DA government in 2014 is going to be the cherry of that election for me. :-)

      Simnikiwe - 2012-03-17 20:21

Im impreseed Pws69, you really know how to dream. They should put a picture of your face in the dictionary next to the definition of "Dreamer"...

      paulmandlankosi - 2012-03-17 20:22

Deliver KZN to your baas shoukd read

      pws69 - 2012-03-17 20:23

@Simnikiwe, Ah, so if I am dreaming, the DA don't really govern CT and WC. Mmm. How old are you again, 12 (that is a mental age of 12, and an ANCYL age of 40)?

      pws69 - 2012-03-17 20:26

So, who is my "baas" then Paul?

      Simnikiwe - 2012-03-17 20:27

Dude, you 're messing up the dream, of course DA governs WC.

  • Sidney Gilroy - 2012-03-17 21:00

Get a black executive. Change your name to the African Democratic Alliance. South Africa is yours.

      paulmandlankosi - 2012-03-17 21:01

I agree with you, this is just a window dressing

  • Eric Mdudus Shaku - 2012-03-17 21:05

    where is Tony Leon?

      paulmandlankosi - 2012-03-17 21:07

He is in the ANC payroll

      pws69 - 2012-03-17 21:21

You see Paul, that is the problem with you ANC clowns, no distinction between party and state. Leon, along with ALL politicians are on the payroll of the TAXPAYER, and NOT the ANC. The ANC are only custodians of the money presently, and not very good ones at that.

      paulmandlankosi - 2012-03-17 21:32

Neither am I ANC member nor a supporter

  • Muzy - 2012-03-17 21:19

What all South Africans are looking for in desperation is a moralistic party with moralistic dynamic leaders who can take us out of this degenerate sesspool we have been living in for 17 long years. There must be AN ALTERNATIVE to this cANCer ruling party that we can all vote for for the betterment of every colour and creed in this country. God help us now for time is running out.

      bluzulu - 2012-03-18 07:21

Moral cesspool has been around in RSA for the last 150 years not 17.

      bluzulu - 2012-03-18 07:23

If you think the Apartheid government was morally upstanding/correct there is very little that can be done to educate you, Amanda.

      Mtshezi Yonk'insipho Iyawasha Mkhize - 2012-03-18 09:35

Ayanda seems like she is black I can just tell by the way she writes, but anyway Amanda something is fishy about u, if u think there is anything to brag about Apartheid??? Cumon don't be such a disappointment u can think better!!!!
