Provincial ANC man under fire
Johannesburg - North West ANC secretary Kabelo Mataboge will appear before the party's provincial disciplinary committee, spokesperson Kenny Morolong said on Friday.
He is accused of having failed to register candidates in some wards for the local government elections in May this year.
"The provincial working committee... concluded some comrades, including the provincial secretary, must appear before the provincial disciplinary committee.
"We call on all comrades, including those in the media, to allow the internal process of the African National Congress to run its course."
Morolong denied Mataboge had been suspended.
The SABC reported on Friday that the provincial working committee had met in Mahikeng to discuss Mataboge's immediate suspension.
