SA's condolences conveyed to Chiluba family
Johannesburg - Correctional Services Minister Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula extended condolences to the family of former Zambian President Frederick Chiluba on Monday, her ministry said.
She was attending his funeral service in Lusaka, Zambia.
"On behalf of President [Jacob] Zuma and the people of South Africa, Minister Mapisa-Nqakula wishes to convey sincere condolences to the Chiluba family and the citizens of Zambia," spokesperson Sonwabo Mbananga said in a statement.
Chiluba, 68, suffered a heart attack and died on June 17.
