Western Cape adds new teacher posts

2012-08-08 22:00

Johannesburg - At least 154 additional teaching posts have been allocated to schools in the Western Cape, the province's Education MEC Donald Grant said on Wednesday.

"These additional posts will bring the total basket of teaching posts to 31 091," he said in a statement.

"This will enable schools to plan and budget accordingly for the 2013 school year."

The process was done together with school governing body associations and teacher unions.

Most of the posts were allocated to the foundation phase and special needs education.

You will be very disappointed. All the racists moved here. The same WC government wants to close 27 schools in stead of ascertaining what is wrong, and fix it. The DA just close their eyes and wish the problem will go away. Until the people start protesting.

Shame, Hendrik. Don't worry, you are not alone. There are many other ignorant people active on this forum.

Why does the anc want Donald out. Is it because people get educated there in the WC.
