Speaking during an interview in News24's studios, Agang leader Dr Mamphela Ramphele said Agang expects to get between 10 and 15% of the vote in the upcoming national election.WATCH

Cape Town - Agang SA leader Mamphela Ramphele has criticised President Jacob Zuma, saying he has no respect for the democratic process

Speaking to News24, Ramphele said the ANC had become so arrogant that it is "undermining the very basis of democracy".

"For a president to say that the ANC will rule forever, means he has no respect for the fact that this ANC, particularly his office and his person, is implicated in huge corruption. Zuma is regarding himself not as a public servant, but as a king. South Africans must thwart that agenda that he's got."

She added that South Africans should "wake up" to Zuma's threats to change the Constitution.
