The new series, which will air on ABC in the US, follows Agent Phil Coulson (played by Clark Gregg) as puts together a small team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents to handle strange new cases. Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is created by The Avengers director Joss Whedon and will premiere in the US in September.
