Cape Town – Telkom Internet is offering clients to add an iPad, Tablet or laptop to their Telkom Do Broadband Bundles and pay no additional fees or interest as part of their “Awesome Campaign”.

This move follows FNB that has made online sales of gadgets part of its business.

A Telkom spokesperson said they “absolutely” want to expand their device deals and offer customers a range of products.

“The aim is to give customers access to the latest technology and devices to experience Telkom’s great broadband services,” a Telkom spokesperson told News24.

“We are in discussions with all major brands to bundle ADSL with their hardware. Based on the customer segment and taking affordability into consideration we are looking at both high and low end devices.”

The “Awesome Campaign” was launched on 17 September 2012 and has now been extended to 31 December 2012.

According to the spokesperson the campaign has been successful with an overwhelming response from consumers.

Customers can sign up for a 24-month new Apple iPad deal and get a new Apple iPad plus 5GB data every month for R467 per month.
