Venue: D’Aria Wine Estate, Durbanville
Ticket pricing: R35 per adult and R25 per dog (online before day of event) or R40 per adult and R30 per dog on the day.

This year’s SPCA Purina Woefie Wandel promises to be bigger and better as you will get to see hundreds of dogs and their owners showing the world what they’ve got.

What to expect:

•    Show from K9 Search & Rescue dogs
•    Food vendors
•    Wine tasting from D’Aria Wine Cellar
•    Jumping castles and face-painting for the kids
•    Mini-concert by SA top female singer, Louise Carver
•    Show by comedians Dalin Oliver and Carl Weber

Some ground rules:

The SPCA urges all participants to wear proper walking shoes that are suitable for walking on dirt roads.
Dog owners should consult their veterinarian before committing to take part in the walk.
Puppies under four months are not permitted to take part.

How to enter:

Enter online at http://www.spca-ct.co.za/event.asp before 28 March for a discounted fee of R35 per adult and R25 per dog (or R40 per adult and R30 per dog on the day). Entry forms are also available at the CoGH SPCA vet shops in Plumstead and Grassy Park. Children in prams enter free of charge. Goodie bags are guaranteed for those who enter before 17h00 on 28 March 2014.

Registration on the day opens at 07h00 and the walk will begin at 09h00 in staggered starts. Entertainment, dog agility show and prize giving will follow on at 11h00 with the performance by Louise Carver ending the day at 12h00.
