Atlanta - A man who reportedly slapped a toddler on board an Atlanta-bound jet, has been found guilty.
The Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC) reported that Joe Rickley Hundley, from Idaho, will be spending eight months in prison for the crime.

The incident occurred after Jessica Bennett’s 19-month old son, Jonah, reportedly wouldn’t stop crying, irking Hundley to the point where he eventually slapped the toddler. AJC reported that Hundley had admitted to using a racial slur to Bennet, while Jonah was crying.

Hundley’s infuriation by the crying toddler, added to stress of his own son, who was in a coma, on life support, after overdosing on insulin, and who died days later.

AGI also indicates that Hundley might have been gotten a shorter sentence if it hadn’t been for his probation for driving under the influence, and being convicted of assault in Virginia.

Hundley was fired from his position as president of Unitech Composites and Structures, following the allegations.
