Odor causes Lufthansa flight to divert

2013-06-28 15:40
Seatac — Firefighters found no fire and couldn't find the source of an electrical odor that caused a Lufthansa flight from San Francisco to Munich to divert Thursday night to the Seattle airport.

KIRO reports two crew members and a passenger were treated by medics for breathing trouble after the plane landed about 11:30 p.m. There were 323 passengers and 16 crew members on board the Airbus A340.

Flight 459 was canceled and the airline said the passengers would be rebooked after an overnight stay in Seattle.
