BA celebrates royal birth with free flights for babies

London - British Airways is celebrating  the royal birth by offering complimentary flights for all infants under the age of two travelling from Singapore to London or Sydney, valid for travel before 30 November 2013 and booked by 31 July 2013. reports the promotion is only valid for travel before Nov 30, 2013.

"We have been so excited for the royal birth since the news broke last year. It is such special news for the UK and something that we really want to celebrate with our customers here in Singapore," said Robert Williams, the airline's regional commercial manager for Southeast Asia.

The British Royal Family have flown on British Airways during their international tours.  The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge recently flew back to London from Singapore with British Airways after their South East Asia tour marking the Diamond Jubilee.

In addition, the airline is offering special fares to London and Sydney. Return fares to Sydney in the World Traveller economy class start from $688 (about R6 742 at R9.80/$), while return flights to London start from $1,688.

Exclusive fares are also available in the World Traveller Plus cabin with return flights to Sydney from $1,188 and return fares to London from $2,688.
