Surprising jet lag cures

2013-11-15 11:59

Like hangovers and the common cold, jet lag is one of those annoying ailments for which there really is no set and dried cure.

CNN reports that Skyscanner recently polled 1 000 Singaporean travellers about their chosen prevention methods or remedies for jet lag and the results were rather varied… and surprising.

One of the survey’s most astonishing results revealed that 11% of these travellers had tried using Viagra as a jetlag cure and that it had a 45% success rate.

"Our survey has shown that people will often try various methods in order to beat jet lag -- but they may not work for everyone," said Singapore marketing manager Ira Noviani at travel search siteSkyscanner, which conducted the poll of 1,000 travelers.

These are the top cures as revealed by the survey. What is your sworn-by jetlag prevention or cure? Tell us in the comment section below or send us your thoughts to info@news24.com
